PolSV – Poland in Silicon Valley, in collaboration with Stanford University Professor Piotr D. Moncarz, Ph.D., P.E., NAE, was proud to host a distinguished Polish delegation for a high-level meeting with CITRIS and the Banatao Institute. The event took place at the historic San Francisco War Memorial & Performing Arts Center.

A key outcome of the visit was the signing of a new partnership agreement between CITRIS and Polish aerospace institutions. The agreement aims to build lasting cooperation between Poland’s leading research centers and the Berkeley Space Center, as well as the four CITRIS campuses: University of California, Berkeley; UC Santa Cruz; UC Merced; and UC Davis.

This collaboration will focus on advancing research in aerospace, climate, health, artificial intelligence, and public policy. It also opens new pathways for strengthening ties with NASA Ames Research Center – home of the Berkeley Space Center – and NASA at large PolSV extends sincere thanks to Patrick Consorti and Julie Shapiro for their outstanding support in preparing the meetings and facilitating this important partnership.

This milestone underscores PolSV’s mission to foster international collaboration in science, innovation, and entrepreneurship – bringing Polish excellence closer to global innovation hubs.
