CITRIS – August 2025: New Projects, Partnerships, and Events 

As part of the ongoing collaboration between CITRIS and the Poland in Silicon Valley Center (read more here), we are sharing the latest highlights from the CITRIS August 2025 News Digest: 

  • – new Seed Funding grants for UC research projects, 

  • – the CITRIS Aviation Prize 2025 – a student competition with awards up to USD 15,000, 

  • – partnership with Kajima on underground monitoring technologies to strengthen urban  resilience, 

  • – the Super-GX Project – USD 2 million for energy-saving solutions in large buildings, 

  • – upcoming events: Tech Policy Community Reception (September 10, Berkeley) and BECC 2025 (November 2–5, Sacramento).
