Prof. Piotr Moncarz at the 2025 Economic Forum in Karpacz 

On September 2, 2025, Prof. Piotr D. Moncarz, President and CEO of the Poland in Silicon Valley Center, participated in the panel “Poland’s Momentum 2.0: How to Effectively Combine the Potential of Poland and the Polish Diaspora” (Moda na Polskę 2.0. Jak skutecznie łączyć potencjały Polski i Polonii) during the XXXIV Economic Forum in Karpacz. 

The panel was organized by the “Polish Community” Association (Stowarzyszenie „Wspólnota Polska”) and gathered distinguished representatives of academia, government, and the Polish diaspora. Alongside Prof. Moncarz, the discussion featured:

Małgorzata Kwiatkowska, President of the Council of Polish Community in Australia (Australia)

Dr. Łukasz Gołota, Deputy Director of the Polish National Agency for Academic Exchange (Poland)

Tadeusz Adam Pilat, Vice President of the World Polish Diaspora Council (Sweden)

Robert Duchniewicz, Mayor of Vilnius District (Lithuania)

The panel was moderated by Zenona Bańkowska, Vice President of the Polish Community Association.

Prof. Moncarz emphasized the importance of Poland’s growing international visibility and cited inspiring examples of Polish students and researchers at Stanford and UC Berkeley who are proud to represent their homeland in the United States. He underlined that building and maintaining strong U.S.–Poland relations requires continuous effort and engagement.
